Songify is using a lot of CPU when grabbing info from Chrome. How can I fix this?

Reading the current track out of Chrome is expensive. Chrome's renderer plus Songify poking at it will spike CPU, especially with a bunch of tabs open.
Don't do that if you can avoid it.
- Spotify: use the desktop app and link it under Settings → Spotify.
- YouTube Music: use Pear Desktop instead of a browser tab.
That's the real fix. If you're stuck on Chrome for a bit, close extra tabs and don't leave Songify scraping in the background when you're not streaming. It still won't be cheap.
OBS Browser Sources are separate — those can also eat CPU if you stack huge widgets at 60 fps. That's OBS, not the Chrome grabber. Lower the source fps or hide scenes you aren't using.
