Songify features
Songify is a Windows app for Twitch streamers. It shows what is playing, lets viewers request songs in chat, and feeds OBS with widgets. Play through Spotify or Pear Desktop (YouTube Music). The app stays free; Premium is optional through Ko-fi.
Spotify vs Pear today
Core stream tools work on both players. Spotify still has the stronger catalog identity: one track ID, playlists, devices, Canvas, and Liked Songs. Pear plays YouTube videos, so the same song can exist as many uploads.
| Feature | Spotify | Pear |
|---|---|---|
| Now playing, widgets, history | Yes | Yes |

Pear is YouTube Music through Pear Desktop. See the Pear setup guide if you are switching players.
