How do I set up song requests for my stream?
Answer
Two ways in, same queue.
Channel points: Settings → Song Requests, turn the reward on, and pick the cost. Viewers redeem it on Twitch.
Chat: Settings → Commands and enable !ssr. Viewers type !ssr song name or paste a Spotify link.
While you're in there, set who can request (everyone, subs, mods), the cooldown, and how many songs one person can have in the queue. The blocklist is worth filling in before the first raid.
Playback goes through whatever player you linked — Spotify or Pear Desktop. If requests hit the queue but nothing plays, the player isn't connected, not the command.
If chat ignores !ssr entirely, Twitch isn't linked or that user isn't allowed to use the command. Song Requests Not Working has the usual gotchas.
