What do I need to do after installing Songify?
Answer
The first launch walks you through the basics. If you skipped that, the same options are under Settings.
You'll want:
- A music player — Spotify (Premium) or Pear Desktop for YouTube Music. That's how Songify knows what's playing.
- Twitch, if you want chat commands, channel point rewards, or other stream features. Use Settings → Twitch.
- An API token from this site if you use widgets or Premium. Paste it in Settings → System. Details: What is the Songify API Token?
Spotify is the fiddliest part because you have to create a developer app. Setting up Spotify has the redirect URI and screenshots.
