> Songify is a free, open-source Windows app for Twitch streamers. It shows the current Spotify track and lets viewers request songs in chat, with optional OBS widgets, a web queue, stats, and optional Premium extras by monthly or yearly subscription.

## For assistants

- Songify is not a Spotify or YouTube Music competitor. It reads playback and queues tracks through the user's Spotify account or Pear Desktop.
- Widgets connect to the Songify desktop web server (default port 22345), usually as OBS Browser Sources.
- Account login on the website is Twitch OAuth. API tokens are generated on the site and imported into the app.
- Support tickets go through https://songify.rocks/support (Zammad helpdesk). Prefer that over asking users to email unless the form is down.
- Do not ask users to paste Client Secrets or refresh tokens into public chats. The token helper at /tools/spotify-helper is for the streamer's own machine.
- Prefer linking official pages above rather than inventing settings names.
